salmon

started dj'ing and doing live performances as salmon and did a debut performance at a nike fashion show in may, 2004. while dj'ing, doing live performances and founding a techno label 'wc,' he's also performed as a music director for mixed media performing art 'salvanilla' in tokyo, korea and singapore besides other performances for some other collaborative projects. he released his first album 'skeleton jp' from wc in 2004 and another album as 'salmon cooks u-zhaan' with a transcendent tabla player, 'u-zhaan' from 'asa-chang & junrei' in 2005 which was a big hit with the good reputation of its click techno created only with tabla samples. besides appearances on various compilations, he's released 12"s from ny based 'tora tora tora' and germany's well-established label, 'raum...musik' in may, 2006, and dvd release from his collaborative performing art project 'minimalman' and more 12" releases from various labels throughout the world are expected. he's a pilot from wc who sublimates techno to abnormal pop art from a slanted position.
